Uma & Surendra a designer duo are among the pioneer of designer Chikankari in Lucknow. Dealing directly with karigars and not middlemen they have delved to create a new look that is modern yet traditional, gorgeous yet simple. They have experimented on different fabrics, textures, techniques and combination of embroideries to create a new look, which is different but beautiful.

The designer duo give a special attention for application of color, color combinations, positioning of embroidery, development of motifs, neatness of work and the finishing of garments.

Starting in year 2000, they have assumed success due to superior quality and truly diverse variety of designs they offer. From traditional and contemporary to conservative and outright maverick, they cover every genre. It is of little surprise that the designers' clientele boasts of eminent celebrities from the world of cinema and corporations.
